  • chevron_rightDoes Breitling Village allow soliciting?
    No, Breitling Village does not allow soliciting in our neighborhood, with certain reasonable exceptions. Per the City of Jenks Municipal Code of Ordinances, solicitation for commercial sales in our development is considered trespassing:

    Section 14-5-8. - Unlawful Entrance
    (A) Trespassing is hereby declared to be an offense and shall be defined as follows:
    (7) For solicitors to sell or take orders for goods or wares, in subdivisions in which a Homeowner's Association has posted a "No Soliciting" sign at its primary entrances, except for sales or taking orders for goods or wares by local non-profit charitable and civic groups, or religious or educational organizations.

    There are signs at the main entrances to our Village informing visitors that this is our policy; feel free to remind any salesperson that may approach you within our development to offer goods or services of this and the Jenks City Code!

  • chevron_rightAre there any restrictions regarding parking on the streets in Breitling Village?
    Our Covenants specify that each lot provides an attached garage space for a minimum of two cars, and off-street parking space for a minimum of two cars. The Jenks City Code of Ordinances provides guidance for parking on city streets:

    Section 20-15-1. - Stopping, Standing, or Parking Prohibited in Designated Places.
    No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid a conflict with other traffic or in compliance with law or ordinance or the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device, in any of the following places;
    (1)  On a sidewalk.
    (2)  Within an intersection.
    (3)  In front of a public or private driveway.
    (4)  Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant except in a parking space officially marked.
    (5)  On a crosswalk.
    (6)  Within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
    (7)  Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic-control signal located at the side of a roadway.
    (14)  At any place where official signs prohibit stopping.
    (15)  On a street within 15 feet on either side of a mailbox between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., unless said mailbox is that of the abutting property occupant. A violation of the same shall carry a fine of $15.00, which shall increase to $30.00 if not paid within 72 hours of issuance of ticket.

    Section 20-15-6. - Parking More Than 24 Hours Prohibited
    (1)    No person shall park a vehicle on any street or in any alley for a period of time longer than 24 hours.

    The only other restriction specific to Breitling Village limits parking on S Cleveland St W to the west side of the street, due to the width of that street.

  • chevron_rightHow are Breitling Village annual dues calculated?
    The HOA Board of Directors recommends dues levels each year that are sufficient:
    • to fund the expected cost of ordinary operating expenditures, adjusted each year for inflation;
    • to fund the estimated cost of extraordinary expenditures for maintenance and replacement of the common elements; and
    • to maintain a financial reserve above an adequate, not excessive threshold during one or more years of significant expenditures.
